Four senor government officials at the Government Information and Communication Technology Authority (GICTA) have been relieved of their duties.
They include Director of corporate services Felix Ongaga, Head of Finance David Ouma, accountant Peter Mwangi, and cashier Anthony Mwangi, who were suspended on Wednesday.
The four were reportedly alleged to have embezzled huge sums of money from the President Uhuru Kenyatta's, Presidential Digital Talent Programme (PDTP).
"The acting CEO suspended all the four officers in the finance and account department to allow for investigations," ICT principal secretary Victor Kyalo said in a statement.
The four are accused of receiving Sh20 million to their personal accounts in pretense of out-of-office allowances.
