The 2022 General Elections will no doubt attract stiff competition in all the six elective positions. One position that stands out is the Vice Presidency. Many can be mentioned for the job but these four politicians stand out more:
1. Peter Kenneth
Having taken a shot at the Presidency in 2013 and failed, Peter Kenneth has been out in the cold for some time now and his re-entry into the political arena better places him at the Vice Presidency.
This can even be much promising if he becomes a running-mate to the current Deputy President William Ruto.
2. William Kabogo
The ex-Kiambu County Governor still enjoys the massive Central Kenya popularity and can no doubt deliver votes to whoever he can play second to become the Deputy President in 2022.
3. Hassan Joho
The current Mombasa County Governor is in his second and last term in office. Upon the expiry of his tenure as governor, it will be time to advance into the national politics. Going for the top seat is a bit of an overstretch but the Vice Presidency is the right match he can surely win.
4. Peter Munya
The former Meru Governor had earlier on announced his plans to vie for the presidency in 2022. well, that would have gained more stamina should he have won the second term, now that he lost, the best bet is to contest for the Deputy President post in 2022 general election.
