Menstrual cramps result from the shedding of the inner lining of your uterine wall. Periods are not only physically but also emotionally exhausting. It is during this time that women curse why they were not born men.  Fortunately, there are different natural ways to remedy the pain during this time. Here are five ways to reduce pain during your periods

 1. Exercise

 It is recommended to work out during this period. Outline some of the exercises that will relieve you from pain. Exercises help in the release of beta-endorphins that make you comfortable. It is common to feel bloated when attending. Reducing salt intake before that time will ease the work of the kidney when it comes to flushing out waste materials.

 2. Avoid tight clothes

Always dress for comfort during this time. Avoid wearing too tight clothes because they will cause you more harm than good. The tight clothes will hurt your stomach by compressing it further. Leave your belly alone if you want to be comfortable during this time.

 3. Eat carrots

 Carrots are not only recommended for eye health but also regulation of your menstrual cycle.  It can be good to take a glass of carrot juice during the cramps period.

4. Avoid caffeine and meat

 Meat and caffeine tend to increase pain during menstruation.  You should minimize or totally stay away from caffeine and meat.
