Nakuru County played host for the 4th Annual Devolution Conference which kicked off Monday, March 6, 2017.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd conferences were held in Kwale, Kisumu and Meru respectively since 2014.
During such conferences, devolution evaluate performance of both National and County governments in matters law, accountability, policy, good governance, and service delivery, education, security among others.
Under the theme: “Devolution – Transforming Lives: Tell Your Story!’’ president Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to officiate it, Tuesday.
Council of Governors chairman Peter Munya said the conference would adopt include dialogue, discussions, question and answer forums among other form of engagements.
All the 47 governors, and over 2,000 delegates are expected at the event being held Kenya Wildlife Service Training Institute.
The four-days event ends March 9.
