Academic institutions that are using fraud methods to swindle parents money have been put on notice.

Nakuru county director for Youths and Vocational training Josephat Kimemia said a body has been formed by the national Government to ensure academic institutions adhere to the set standards.

Kimemia said many institutions are giving out certificates that do not meet the standards required

"Parents be aware of institutions that are frauding you money, before you take your child to these institutions just do a test to determine if they meet the Government standards, but already the national government is in the process of identifying them,"said Kimemia.

Kimemia urged youths to be innovative and use the skills acquired to improve their lives.
