Youths in Nakuru have been challenged to embrace coding as a means of job creation  rather than seeking jobs.

Speaking on Monday November 6 afternoon at the American Corner, Joseck Kweya of Kenya National Library Services Nakuru, challenged youths in Nakuru to practice basic simple computer languages such as the HTML which is now offered for free at the American corner.

"Gain skills to empower your community. Don't complain about problem of unemployment, instead figure out some problem you could solve using coding, such as developing functional websites," said Joseck.

The classes run for ninety minutes every Mondays and Tuesdays at the American corner for a duration of ten weeks starting at 4.30am-6pm.
