Nuseiba Mohammed Haji Osman alias Umm Fidda was remanded for 10 days to allow police complete investigations against her.

According to the prosecution, the woman was arrested after she was allegedly found in possession of one micro SD card of 2GB, SD adapter and one notebook from the First Community Bank.

The state further alleged that intelligence reports showed that the accused has been passing information to ISIS via various internet communication platforms.

“Pursuant to brief investigations so far carried out, Nuseiba has other associates who are still at large and is yet to reveal other suspects and her release will jeopardise their arrest and the ongoing investigations,” the prosecution argued.

She will be remanded at the KIlimani police station.

In July, Umm Fidda was arraigned in court facing accusations of being an accomplice in a thwarted plan by ISIS to launch an anthrax attack in the country.

She is charged alongside her husband Mohammed AbdiAli.

The two are accused of engaging in active radicalisation and recruitment of university students and other Kenyan youth into terror networks. They have denied the charges
