Betty Obiri who unsuccessfully vied for Riana Ward MCA seat on a Jubilee party ticket said she will have not problem working with Ongwae, a NASA governor.
"President Uhuru Kenyatta personally said leaders should embrace unity and work together to develop the country. I won't have any problem supporting governor James Ongwae of ODM to bring development in Riana ward where I come from," she said.
Obiri urged all Kisii county elected MPs, MCAs and senator to shun politics and concentrate on serving the people of Kisii County.
"There is no reason as to why leaders will still be preaching politics yet this is not the time. Kisii County residents need service delivery failure to which most of leaders will be shown the door in 2022," she noted.
She said Riana ward MCA Vincent Moisabi Ariemba is being weighed and if he does not perform residents will vote him out in 2022.
She was speaking on Wednesday at Suneka area where she attended a funeral.
