The Carter Centre, which is an election monitoring team established by the former US president Jimmy Carter through a report has praised the IEBC over its preparation for the August 8, polls.
The center said despite all the court battles IEBC has had to face in recent months it still did a great job.
"The IEBC has still met most of the legal deadlines and has moved forward with preparations for the election. The Carter Centre commends the IEBC for its efforts,” reads the report.
“Unfortunately some of the candidates have used the court challenges to criticise its authority and competence in an attempt to delegitimise the IEBC,” the report adds.
