Nation Media Group(NMG) has said their employee Larry Madowo will not respond to the summons by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation(DCI) over recording a statement on an interview he conducted with NASA strategist David Ndii.

NMG has termed the DCI request unethical

 “Neither Larry Madowo nor NTV will record a statement,” they stated.

Madowo had been requested to appear before the security officials and record a statement through a letter to NMG CEO Joe Muganda. The interview in question centered on a petition on self-determination that was to be filed with the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, in which Ndii said he only shared the petition as an individual since it was a conversation that had been going on
