Until now, contents of the surprise deal remains a highly guarded secret even with Raila often insisting that he will work with the government to implement a host of abandoned projects.

Speaking separately, the Gusii leaders led by Kitutu Chache South MP now wants implementation of the deal suspended until more leaders are brought on board.

"We are not opposing the deal but it will be important for the two principals to bring in more stakeholders before the implementation is done.

"People like Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka or even me should not feel left out," said the Ford Kenya legislator.

Similar sentiments were echoed by Borabu MP Ben Momanyi who insisted that the talks remain 'null and void' in absence of his party leader Mr. Musyoka.

"To be fair, the dialogue should involve more leaders. Kalonzo has been among top peace champions and it will be unfair to ignore him," he said.

While the ODM wing has unanimously endorsed the peace deal, Ford Kenya, Wiper and ANC have been calling for a more inclusive dialogue.
