The family of the departed Billionaire Tom Cholmondeley were up in arms after MP Shah hospital reportedly refused to release his body.
The family had arrived at the hospital and requested the transfer of the deceased to Lee Funeral home but their wish was rejected.
According to the family, they were yet to understand how Cholmondeley was handled in the hospital even after undergoing a standard surgery.
"Everyone wants to know why he was taken into ICU after a standard procedure that is normally under local/spinal anaesthetic," a family member said.
MP Shah's CEO Anup Das refused to give his comment on the issue when he was confronted.
"Please ask their lawyers. They are the best people to answer," Das was quoted by the Star.
Cholmondeley who owns close to 50,000 acres ranch in Naivasha had undergone a hip surgery on Tuesday which was reportedly successful.
However, despite being handled by a top cardiologist, the controversial businessman breathed his last.
