David Onyonka, the kid brother to Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka, was stabbed to death by his elder brother due to family wrangles, it has now emerged.
The 32-year-old was killed on Friday night by his brother, identified as Karim, in what family source claims was the culmination of protracted enmity between the duo.
"This is just a domestic duel. It had nothing to do with the TV volume as some people are saying. The have been wrangling over ownership of property," said a family source.
"It is just a coincidence that the late refused to reduce TV volume and the elder brother, who appeared drunk stabbed him. It is just domestic duel."
On Saturday, the family said Karim was unhappy when the younger brother failed to heed to his request to lower TV volume before stabbing him to death.
Kitutu Chache South Police have commenced investigations to the gruesome murder as the suspect remains behind bars.
While David was born to late Dr. Zachary Onyonka, his mother was however not officially married to the late minister.
