An Eldoret lawyer has alleged that there is a plot to kill the late Mark Too's first wife.
The lawyer Simon Lilan revealed that there were plans to assassinate Mark Too's widow Mary on December 31 after the politician died.
Lilan said he found Mary suffering from breathing problems and high blood pressure when he visited her at her home shortly after Too's death.
“I asked that she be taken to the hospital and put her in my car but some of those present transferred her to another car which was driven at a terrible speed," said Lilan.
The lawyer who happens to be relative to the departed ex-MP said he would write to DPP Keriako Tobiko concerning an independent probe into Too's death.
“I know what I am saying and you can identify a killer when you look at one. With time the truth will come out. Some of Too’s property has already been transferred but we will follow up to ensure it is safe," he said.
Too collapsed at his home and was rushed to the St Lukes Hospital in Eldoret where he was pronounced dead.
