[Photo/ODM]Ten bodies of victims who died during police confrontation on Friday last week had bullets wounds while eight died as a result of body trauma (cut by a sharp object/or hit with a blunt object).Opposition's NASA says government pathologist Johansen Oduor, conducted a postmortem on the bodies and made the report. The NASA supporters were killed as their leader Raila Odinga, was returning from his 10-day US trip.ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale said Oduor's postmortem for the 18 victims on November 23, was witnessed by officers from the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) and the Independent Police Oversight Authority (IPOA).Friends and families of the deceased were also present during the autopsy at Nairobi's City Mortuary.Oduor's report according to Etale, said three bodies (two with bullet wounds) were lying at Chiromo Mortuary, one at Nairobi Women’s Hospital Mortuary and another at the Kenyatta University Hospital Mortuary.Etale asked the government to take full responsibility for the deaths. "The use of excessive force by police is prohibited and therefore, the NASA coalition will seek legal redress both locally and internationally to ensure justice for the victims. Upon investigations by the IPOA and KNCHR, individual charges will be preferred on police officers who will be found culpable."
