NASA leader Raila Odinga will not present filled form 24A as required by IEBC as a way to formalize his decision to have quit the expected repeat of the presidential election on October 26, former Machakos Senator Johnston Muthama has revealed.

According to Muthama the opposition leader has no plans to fill the required forms as had directed by IEBC on Wednesday night when Mr Odinga had already left the country for London where he is expected to deliver a public lecture.

Muthama who has been on the forefront leading protests calling for the removal of select IEBC staff reforms for them to participate and allow fresh election in the country said both Mr Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka had written to IEBC and that that rendered the form 24A inconsequential.

" What is the essence of filling any form when Mr Odinga and his running mate have written to IEBC informing be them off their withdrawal! It isn't necessary because that letter can be simply attached to that form as it is formal," said Mr Muthama.

When asked about cases of property destruction and looting during NASA demos, Muthama during the interview on Thursday morning dismissed the accusations against their supporters pointing fingers to their opponents in Jubilee.

On Wednesday IEBC held that Mr. Odinga is still a candidate in the fresh polls including all the other candidates who contested for the presidency in the nullified elections citing his failure to have filled the form 24A.

Mr Odinga however according to the commission has a chance to meet the requirements for exit from the contest.
