President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived at Moi International Airport Mombasa, from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where he attended the 28th Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly.

The president continued with his voter registration tour in the County, which is perceived to be an Opposition stronghold, Tuesday.

Before jetting to Ethiopia, Uhuru went across the Country calling on eligible Kenyans, especially the youths, to register as voters, so as to support his re-election.

''We continue to call on every Kenyan and especially the youth to register as voters. It is the only way we can engage in electing the right leaders and ensure our country is moving forward,'' Uhuru said in Mombasa.

The Assembly involved Heads of State and government of the African Union. 

The overarching theme of the summit this year was the importance of harnessing the demographic dividend through investments in the youth.
