Residents will now have to dig deeper into their pockets to afford kerosene, petrol and diesel oil.

The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) announced an increase in prices across the country that took effect at midnight, Saturday.

ERC announced the increase where petrol will sell at sh84.25, diesel at sh70.37 and kerosene at shs46.98 from the previous month where petrol, diesel, and kerosene sold at sh80.71, sh66.23 and sh43.96 respectively.

This means petrol increased by sh3.54 per litre, diesel sh4.14 per litre while kerosene increased by sh3.02.
