Cord delegates from Bomachoge Chache and Bomachoge Borabu constituency have challenged Deputy governor Joash Maangi to follow up on the development pledges they were promised by the county government .

Speaking during the meeting with the Deputy governor at his home in Riabongera, they challenged him to follow up on the pledges they were  promised during the campaigns.

Led By David Rongito, they said the county government promised them some development projects which needs to be followed up since they have not be launched anywhere in the area.

“There are many promises that were made by the county government under the leadership of Governor James Ongwae," said Rongito.

"Through our meeting resolutions we have agreed with the Deputy governor that they county will fulfill the pledges so that we can also benefit in terms of development,” he said.

The meeting which was attended by more than a hundred Cord delegates from both Bomachoge constituencies agreed to work in solidarity with the Maangi as they challenged him to fulfill the promises.

Joel Oyaro the secretary to the delegation also said that they would like to see the promises fulfilled in their areas.

“We don’t want to be left behind in terms of development thats why we are advocating our Deputy governor to follow up on  the pledges," said Oyaro.
