Speaking on Tuesday at Kisii town, County youth forum President Dennis Orioki said that the governor promised to help them pay office rent but unfortunately that has not been done.

“It is unfortunate that the Governor cannot honor the pledges he made to the youths more so when he promised to pay our office rent,” said Orioki.

He added that the Governor has failed to honor his pledges leaving youths in debts which they are unable to pay.

“As we are near to the next polls we urge him to fulfill his promises or otherwise come out clear whether we can continue waiting or not,” added Orioki.

According to Orioki it will hard for the governor to look for his re-election from youths support if he cannot fulfill his promises.

“We want the governor to come out clear and tell us which is that way forward, as youth leaders we are in task since some of the youths can think that we were given money hence we urge for the records to be made straight by the governor,” said Orioki.
