Leaders and politicians have been challenged to make sure they fulfill the promises they made to people more so during the visits they make to the region.
According to former councilor Kepha Mogaka, most politicians and leaders make false promises to people more so during forums hence, he advised leaders and politicians on Wednesday's youth forum at Amariba to make sure that they fulfill their promises.
“We have been having many forums like this but after the forums we have never seen any progress I would like to ask the leaders and politicians to make sure that the resolutions from this forum are achieved,” said Mogaka.
The meeting which was attended by Nyaribari Mp Richard Tong’i and his Gatundu South counterpart Moses Kuria who were challenged to make sure that the youths are supported .
“Youths from this region need to be supported creating jobs opportunities we don’t want to have meetings which do not bear fruits,” he added.
The meeting was also attended by more than 1,000 youths under the mandate of focusing on the ways in which young people can play an active role in the implementation of vision 2030 agenda for sustainable development.
