Kisii county assembly on Wednesday vetted and approved 13 nominees for the positions of chief officers.
However, according to county governor James Ongwae, there are two departments that are yet to be filled.
"For the applicants for the positions of the departments of Trade, Industry & Tourism and Education, Labour & Manpower Development will be contacted for an interview once pending issues in those portfolios are resolved," said Ongwae.
The following is the full list of chief officers approved by the county assembly.
Administration, corporate services, and stakeholder management.
1. Administration, Enforcement & Devolved Units – Mr.Mogire Geoffrey Nyanusi (Bonchari)
2. Stakeholder Management, Public Participation & Disaster Management – Dr. Nyokangi Doris Nyangoge (South Mugirango)
Finance and economic planning.
1. Finance & Accounting Services – Ms. Ochoki Beatrice Moraa (Bobasi)
2. Planning & Economic Planning – Ochengo Alfred Auma (Kitutu Chache North)
Agriculture, livestock, fisheries and veterinary services.
1. Agriculture & Cooperate Development – Ms. Mokaya Naomi Nyanchama (Bomachoge Chache)
2. Fisheries, Livestock & Veterinary Services – Dr. Mokaya Alphanus Osoro (Kitutu Chache South)
