The ODM party kicked off party primaries, Thursday April 13, making it the first political party, to conduct nominations, ahead of the August 8, election.
Even though there were cases of delayed ballot papers in Busia county, Director of Communications Philip Etale said the exercise continued well, also in the neighbouring Bungoma and Machakos Counties, same day.
The Raila Odinga-led party will continue with the exercise, in the remaining counties, on various dates, as indicated below:
Saturday 15th April, Turkana, Kakamega, Samburu and Narok Counties.
Tuesday 18th April, Nyamira, Taita Taveta, Kajiado, TransNzoia and Nakuru Counties.
Wednesday 19th April, Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale, Tana River and Lamu Counties.
Thursday 20th April, Kisii County.
Friday 21st April, Homa Bay, Migori and Vihiga Counties.
Monday 24th April, Siaya, Kisumu and Uasin Gishu Counties.
Tuesday 25th April, Makueni, Garissa and Nairobi Counties.
