Flamboyant City Hall boss Mike Sonko for a moment struggled to deliver speech when a furious President Uhuru Kenyatta interrupted him from the background on Wednesday.
Along with Deputy President William Ruto, the two leaders were attending issuance of land Tittle Deeds at Embakasi in Nairobi.
In his speech, Sonko had asked President Uhuru Kenyatta not to be worried by his decision to nominate lawyer Miguna Miguna as his deputy.
"Your Excellency do not be worried by Miguna Miguna. I did so because of intimidation by some of your people," Sonko said.
And at the background, Uhuru was heard saying: "That someone to make me afraid? Who told you I am a coward? I can't be intimidated my friend."
In recent weeks, Sonko has openly accused powerful PS Karanja Kibicho of being used by State House to sabotage his leadership.
While addressing the gathering later, Uhuru said he is only focused to leave a good legacy adding that he is not interested in 'childish politicking'.
