The FKF president Nick Mwendwa has weighed in on the future of women football in Kenya.Mr. Mwendwa revealed that the future of girls playing football in Kenya was bright.''Women football is bright. We are working with FIFA on a project that will boost women football in Kenya as we were picked as the country that is actively involved in supporting girls pursue their football aspirations. Japan has also expressed interest in taking some of our girls,'' the FKF president told a local sports television program today in his office.Women football has far been outstripped by men football.Mwendwa also called on the government to allocate more funds for women football.
