Gakuyo claims that Kabogo’s government is discriminating when it comes to development.

The real estate tycoon claimed that some parts of Kiambu are not benefiting from the county’s allocated resources.

He alleged that major development projects are being concentrated in certain areas at the expense of others.

“It is unfair for Kabogo’s government to discriminate and alienate some areas on matters development,” he claimed when he visited Gatundu Children's Home on Sunday.

Gakuyo said that such discrimination and marginalisation is against the constitution. The Kiambu gubernatorial hopeful vowed to end the discrimination and alienation if elected in 2017.

“I will treat every part of Kiambu with equality when it comes to development and sharing of public resources,” he said. The real estate tycoon also vowed to end poverty and unemployment if elected in 2017.

The aspirant said the County has adequate resources that should benefit every citizen.

At the same time, Gakuyo wants Kabogo’s government to answer audit queries raised by the Auditor General in regards to the use of Sh209 Million during the 2014/2015 Financial Year.

According to the Auditor General's  report, Kabogo’s government failed to account for Sh209 Million spent on salaries during the 2014/2015 financial Year.

Gakuyo said that it’s the right of citizens to know how the county spends its expenditure.

The real estate tycoon has since vowed to send Kabogo home in 2017 saying that he has alternative leadership for Kiambu people.

The aspirant is hoping for a Jubilee Party (JP) ticket to unseat Kabogo.
