A group of bad boys ambushed a KDF officer along Taveta Road in Nairobi on Monday and hit him leading to his death.

The gang fled after the attack.

The officer was hit on the head and died while receiving treatment in hospital.

"He had been walking from a club with a female friend when the gang struck," said another officer.

It is not clear what the gang wanted but police said was a robbery incident though nothing was stolen from the office.

The woman he was with has been arrested for questioning, the star reported.
