African National Congress (ANC) Deputy Party leader Abdi Yarre has accused the Jubilee administration of allegedly abetting corruption and failing to prosecute individuals implicated in graft syndicates.
Speaking on Sunday in Garissa Town, Yarre said the blame game and political rhetoric by top Jubilee management will not be of any help in the war against corruption.
He affirmed that it is only the President who has the legitimate powers to tame corruption in the various public offices.
“Our people of Garissa County and Kenyans at large are sending very strong message to the President and his Deputy. We are tired of this blame games over corruption. We cannot stand this merger of inefficiencies and corruption anymore,” said Yarre.
The parliamentary hopeful further added that the Jubilee administration had terribly failed to tackle run-away corruption in major institutions, and that Kenyans now have the chance to democratically choose leaders, who are bold enough and ready to tame corruption.
“The President has failed to walk the talk and Kenyans have no other option but to vote his Jubilee government out,” added Yare.
