A Tanzanian national accused of behind the Garissa University attack has been found to be unfit to stand trial.
The accused Rashid Charles was declared unfit following examination by the Mathare mental Hospital.
Through his lawyer Chacha Mwita, the accused had argued that he was in a good mental state to stand trial.
Milimani Chief Magistrate Daniel Ogembo, had directed that a mental health be conducted at the Mathare Hospital after another mental medical report from Kamiti health facility was presented in the court.
Rashid had been charged alongside four other people including Mohamed Ali Abdikar, Hassan Aden, Sahal Diriye and Osman Abdi.
They are accused of being planners of the April 2, 2015, Garissa university attack that left 148 people.
The case will be mentioned on October 19, 2016.
