Adam appealed to the youth, asking them to refuse to be the pawns of those who would use them as agents of chaos and violence.

"I would like to condemn with the strongest terms possible what transpired in Narok on Monday. Narok residents are our people and we were not pleased by what happened,” said Adam, speaking to journalists in Garissa town.

Adam opined that what was happening in Narok and many other counties was not due to a mismanagement of funds but a product of battles in supremacy.

"It has all to do with politics and superiority complex. It is not good to lose life because of mere politics. Youths anywhere in Kenya should not allow anyone to ride on them to achieve their selfish goals," notes Adam.

The Governor asked those crippling the County Governments with their endless politics to people a break, to save it for the 2017 elections which itself was not very far.

"Give us time to deliver services to the people. Time for politics will come," said Adam.
