This is after the public service board failed to provide the list when governor Korane asked to ensure that legally employed staffs are in office warning over inappropriate employment procedures.

Speaking in his office a day after being sworn into office, Mr Korane said that he wants to ensure that those employed have gone through the laid down employment procedures so that his administration will improve service delivery.

He said that he will only work with staffs who are legally employed adding that it is a criminal offence for anyone to be employed without going through employment procedures.

“We wanted the list of all staff in the county but they (board) are not ready and I have given them 10 days to provide me with all county workforce,” said the governor elect.

Speaking after being sworn in on Monday, governor Korane promised to serve all residents of Garissa equally saying that he will deliver on his mandate.
