Supkem chairman Abdullahi Salat said that governors should not be biased but they should incorporate all communities during formation of county governments.
Salat said that the governors should consider qualified and experienced professionals from all the tribes living in the county.
Mr Salat further said that the governors should work with other county officials and locals selflessly regardless of party affiliations.
“I urged governors to form all-inclusive governments that will incorporate all communities. They should bring communities together, irrespective of how they voted,” said the chair.
“They should avoid bias in their appointments because it will send a wrong signal for those who never voted for them,” he added.
Mr Salat who was speaking in Garissa further urged Kenyans to remain peaceful despite a Supreme Court ruling that nullified the election of President Uhuru Kenyatta saying that Kenyans will remain brothers and sisters, irrespective of the outcome.
“The determination by the court should not divide us. Kenyans should start preparing for another election as ordered by the court,” he said.
