The recent ordeal featuring majority leader in the National Assembly Aden Duale's alleged hate speech audio continues to stir opinion from leaders in the lower Eastern regions, who are now demanding for the immediate arrest of the lawmaker.
Speaking during a press conference on the same issue, Matungulu Member of Parliament Stephen Mule came up strongly to condemn the 'hate monger' that Duale has become.
Mule further made it clear to Duale that Garissa County as a whole is not a territory owned by Duale's mother in the Kenyan philosophical '..si ya mama yako' philosophy that was initiated by Duale himself.
"Duale has become a hate monger to the Kamba community, we have heard him say the bombs and those who are using bombs to go and throw the bombs in Machakos. Now he is telling the young people of Garissa to evict and send away the Kamba community staying in Garissa. Duale I want to tell you, Garissa si ya mama yako," Mule said.
Other Kamba community leaders including Kitui senator David Musila and his Makueni counterpart Mutula Kilonzo Junior have demanded for the immediate arrest of Duale and arraignment in court.
They have also asked the Jubilee government leadership to relieve the Duale of his responsibilities in parliament.
