Garissa township MP aspirant Farah Maalim has said residents are tired the poor leadership in the constituency.
Maalim who is running for the seat on Wiper ticket accused the incumbent Aden Duale for running the constituency as a personal property.
“The electorate is tired of how politics and business have been transacted for 10 years. The residents deserve good leadership and I am ready to take over since I'm capable,” he said during an interview at NTV on Wednesday.
He rubbished claims that he is an outsider who should not be allowed to vie in Garissa township constituency.
“I was born and brought up in Garissa town, where my father was a police officer. My mother gave birth to me in Garissa,” he said as Star reports.
