They claim that the operators are rough and keep harassing the students especially the ladies.

They say they keep attacking them especially because of their dressing code.

“I wonder what is wrong with the operators. Instead of concentrating with their core business of ferrying passengers they keep on attacking our dressing code,” says Beryl Kirgotty, a student.

Others however claim the operators abuse them calling them names when they refuse to their advances.

“These bodaboda operators are shameless. They have a habit of making advances to the ladies and when you turn them down they start abusing you," says Sherry Bundi.

The operators were however quick to rubbish the allegations, saying the students had a habit of putting on clothes that were not fit for the society.

“Some of these students have a habit of putting on very short skirts and dresses that make us very uncomfortable and we always raise concern about this,” says Ishmael Bismark.

“Most of these ladies are beautiful and once in a while we try our luck and instead of simply saying no, they have a habit of throwing words at us yet we have no ill intentions. Most of them hate the operators as they view us as hopeless people which sometimes lead to exchange of words,” says Kasaon Peter.
