Gatundu North MP Kigo Njenga has established a modern washroom in Ihigani primary school.
Kigo said he is working towards serving his constituents to enhance their living standard.
Ihigani Primary school pupils have been complaining of their toilet’s poor state.
“Construction of new toilets will help to boost education level in the area. I am optimistic that the new toilets will offer conducive environment to the learners,” said Kigo.
Kigo who was speaking at the school on Thursday said that plans are underway to establish new toilets in the Gatundu North schools.
“This is just the beginning of establishment of toilets and supporting education since with the CDF money we will be able to make more differences in the schools,” said Kigo.
He faulted the county government of Kiambu for shoddy development and appealed the county governor to make worthy development in the county.
He however lauded the reduction of county levies that had raised controversial issue in the county.
The MP has urged pupils to embrace education and to focus in validating their dreams since they are tomorrow's leaders.
