Gekomu residents in the suburbs of Kisii town have lauded Kisii Central MCA Wilfred Monyenye for opening up feeders and murraming the roads that have been in a worrying state in the past.
Speaking to this reporter, Mathias Mose remembered how the roads were a menace, more especially during rain seasons.
“I thank the MCA for the wonderful job he has done by opening up interior roads and murraming them. It is better now unlike in the past, when we could walk in total mud before connecting to the main road," said Mose.
However, he asked the ward representative to open up other remaining roads as he pledged, so that residents can connect easily with main roads.
"I ask him to open and put murran to other roads in our ward so that everybody can enjoy connecting to the main roads and transporting farm produce without any obstacle," appealed Mose.
However, Josephine Kerubo, another resident, accused the MCA of Nepotism and clanism in employment, whereby she argued that he employs his kins and close relatives.
