NRM self-appointed General and controversial former aide to Raila Odinga, Miguna Miguna, has vowed that NRM will retaliate as a result of the alleged five deaths inflicted on NASA supporters during the Raila homecoming on Friday.

In a tweet, General Miguna promised vengeance for the killings he largely blames on the police.

Police have however distanced themselves from the killing noting that live bullets were not used at any point during the protesters.

There were also allegations that the car ferrying Raila Odinga was hit with a bullet. However, other unconfirmed reports indicate that it was a teargas canister which hit the vehicle, partially shattering the bullet-proof glass.

Miguna tweeted:

@MigunaMiguna

From #NRM's High Command: We mourn 6 innocent Kenyans who were brutally murdered by @UKenyatta's barbaric police for simply welcoming THE PEOPLE'S PRESIDENT back home! Thanks to millions of Kenyans who showed up! We've been brutalised enough; we shall avenge! @RailaOdinga

The tweet by Miguna comes at the time when the nation seems to be extremely polarized before Judge David Maraga's ruling on Monday on the petitions challenging the re-election of President Kenyatta.
