A team of geologists from the Ministry of Mining arrived in Nakuru on Saturday to join divers combing Lake Nakuru searching for missing bodies after a chopper crash last Saturday.

The 10 experts from the Geology Department came armed with sophisticated equipments used to trace metals in water.

Among the equipments is a magnetometer which detects metals in deep water.

Enoch Kipseba, a geologist, said they will use their equipments to trace the where about of the chopper wreckage.

"We are expecting that the remaining material of the chopper is metallic and if detected it will lead to recovery of the bodies," he said.
