[Photo|VashMedia]The Black Flag Movement has filed a petition challenging the election of President Uhuru Kenyatta following the fresh presidential election on October 26.Members of the movement led by Chairman George Bush presented their petition at the Supreme Court Registry at around 8pm on Monday, the final day following the seven day window period since Uhuru was declared, October 30.Speaking to the press as their documents were being perused by the Registry, Bush said their movement involved people with low income earnings and could not afford paying for the petition fee as required by law.He said they had also filed a request asking the Supreme Court to allow their petition see the light of the day even without paying the required fees of Sh1.5 million.Bush said the Black Flag Movement had cited the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, Uhuru Kenyatta, and Raila Odinga as the respondents.He lamented that the fresh presidential election had led to deaths of innocent lives and also saw some constituencies in four counties denied the democratic right of electing the president.The movement wants Kenyatta's re-election nullified, with Bush saying they do not support any political party, but the people of Kenya.
