Kenyatta appealed to the German government to allow its people to invest in Kenya. He spoke when he met members of the German business community in Berlin. This is not the first time the President has travelled abroad in search of jobs for the youths.

In March, the Head of State travelled to Israel to search for jobs for the Kenyan youths. He also asked the Israel government to allow more Kenyans to study in the nation. He asked the German investors to invest in Kenya saying that the country is safe and peaceful.

Kenyatta said Kenya is an economic hub in East and Central Africa, and, therefore, the investors should not fear about the economy of the nation.

‘‘The country is secure and my people are willing and ready to work. They are also educated. We are ready to partner with you. Also, something good about my nation is that you do not need to depend on the government,’’ he said.

Approximately 90 Germany countries have invested in Kenya but the president urged the European countries to continue investing.
