Germany has warned Kenya against changing elections laws ahead of the repeat presidential polls on October 26.
According to the European giant, the bill was ill-timed.
The bill is being sponsored by Jubilee Party.
German’s warnings come after foreign envoys raised similar concerns.
In a statement, Germany called on NASA and Jubilee leaders to reconsider their political hard stance.
"This dispute is putting the democratic electoral process at risk. The Kenyan economy is already suffering as a consequence of the uncertainty in the country. There is a danger of escalation." read a statement from the Embassy.
"This not the time to make excessive demands of the independent electoral commission or to change electoral laws at short notice." read part of the statement.
Already NASA has announced anti-IEBC protests every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to push for resignation of CEO Ezra Chiloba.
NASA claims that Chiloba was the reason behind mismanangement of the last poll.
