Youths from Gesima ward have been urged to join universities and colleges to learn skills which will enable them to work at the proposed tea factory once it isconstructed.

According to Zephaniah Ondicho, the chairman to the proposed tea Factory that is likely to be build at Matunwa in Gesima ward said that the factory will be built to benefit residents and therefore youths seek to gain the skills which will enable them to work there.

Zephaniah who was speaking to this Hivisasa writer on Sunday at Matunwa said that to get a working an opportunity one should have the skills required by the factory.

“This factory is one way we can give job opportunities so I urge youths and other residents to join universities, colleges and even polytechnics to learn reqired skills,” said Ondicho.

In addition, he said that farmers should also take advantage of the proposed factory to plant more tea since they are going to get a better place to sell their tea leaves.

“This is also another opportunity for residents to plant more since we are going to get a better place where we can sell our tea leaves,” he said.
