Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has once again asked his partners in the Cord coalition to give him the coalition's presidential candidature, as the August polls approach.
The Cord co-principal while in Machakos town, said he was the ideal candidate to send incumbent president Uhuru Kenyatta home.
"I want to urge my brothers in Cord to get out of the way so that I can tackle this Jubilee government. They all know what I can do. I have what it takes to beat Jubilee, and everybody knows,'' he said.
The Cord coalition is yet to announce its presidential candidate, even as supporters eagerly await.
It is however not clear who Kalonzo, Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula, and Musalia Mudavadi, will settle at, as the ideal candidate to 'wrestle' with president Kenyatta and other presidential aspirants in the August 8, general election.
The former vice president was addressing residents, in his tour to campaign for voter registration, Monday.
