Days after Ruto's botched visit to Moi's Kabarak home, the young Moi took a swipe on the MPs who are 'obsessed' with his 2022 bid.

"I am really begging you to stop involving my father in this. I do not have a problem with anyone who wants to say something about me.

"But I am requesting you to leave my father out of this. He retired from politics and we should respect that," he said.

For months now, Moi has been embroiled in a vicious war of titans with Ruto, with the two expected to face each other in 2022.

Last week, Ruto was denied access to meet retired President Daniel Moi with political pundits linking his woes to senator Moi.
