Baringo senator Gideon Moi has been cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

Moi presented his nomination papers at Kenya School of Government in Kabarnet , Monday.

The Kanu chairman is seeking re-election as Baringo senator under Kanu ticket in the upcoming August polls.

He was cheered by his supporters when he was issued the nomination certificate by the electoral body.

The Kanu candidate is expected to address Baringo residents later in the day, during a rally that has been organized in the region.
