Baringo senator, Gideon Moi has strongly denied claims that Kanu will dissolve and join Jubilee.
The senator was speaking at AIC Kavuliloni in Makueni County on Sunday.
The senator gave a stern warning to Deputy President William Ruto telling him that there would be serious competition come 2017.
"Kanu is a party with a national outlook which does not need to re-invent itself," he said.
Moi criticised Ruto and accused him of being disrespectful towards leaders and other communities during campaigns to popularise himself.
The senator went ahead to hint a popular merger with the Wiper party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka.
"Kanu will negotiate with other like-minded parties and leaders who are ready to unite," the senator told the Kamba community.
Makueni governor, Kivutha Kibwana and Makueni MP, Daniel Maanzo asked Moi to support Kalonzo.
‘‘If Moi decides to work with Kalonzo we will pledge our full support for both of you," said Kibwana.
