Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has lauded NASA leader Raila Odinga holding talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday.
While speaking at Sacho high school on Saturday, Moi said the ‘new found love’ should open a new chapter in Kenya’s political path.
“We hope the talks of the two leaders will go along way to bring about peace and prosperity to the people of Kenya,” Moi said.
The senator said a united Kenya needs all leaders to come together and broker unity for all Kenyans.
“And that will not be possible without engaging one another, we hope this will bring a new beginning to our country,” Moi said.
Raila and Uhuru, who were rivals in the 2017 presidential race, shocked Kenyans after they came together on Friday and announced a new dawn for Kenya.
The two said they will launch a program that will see their vision for a united Kenya implemented.
