A Senator has cast doubt on Baringo Senator Gideon Moi's ability to lead Kenya.
Isaac Mwaura (Nominated) said on Saturday that the best person to replace President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House is Deputy President William Ruto.
"Let me say it clearly, without doubt that Gideon Moi can not lead Kenya," Mwaura who was speaking during a morning political talk show at a local radio station.
"He sits in the Senate like a prince and expects to be treated differently. That's not the kind of leaders we want."
He made the remarks in response to the implications of opposition chief Raila Odinga's visit to Kabarak on Thursday when the former prime minister paid a courtesy call to former President Daniel Moi.
He said the visit was meant to plan on how deny Ruto the presidency come 2022.
"The three dynasties we have in Kenya- the Kenyatta family, the Moi family and the Odinga family are re-grouping to ensure they retain power," the Senator said.
"And their target is to ensure no one outside the three dynasties takes over power. It's time we have a hustler lead the country."
Political analysts says Raila support Gideon Moi's presidential bid in 2022 if he doe not contest for the top seat.
On Friday Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir said ODM which Raila leads may ask Senator Moi to back an ODM presidential aspirant in 2022.
