Just a day after former Prime Minister visited Moi's Kabarak home where the Kanu party said there were talks hovering the 2022 presidential race, the last born of Mzee Moi met Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru.

Moi, who has indicated he will run for the top seat in 2022, seems to be creating a political network that can help him ascend to the presidency.

Ann Waiguru has become an important figure within central Kenya with talks that she fits to deputize any candidate that wants the region's vote basket.

"Gideon-Waiguru handshake shows this man is serious about 2022," Kiptoyot William said.

Gideon did not delve his discussions with Waiguru.
